RED CUVÉE - CHARACTER AND DIGNITY
OF A MOST NOBLE WINE

T he elegant cuvée "Erzherzog Maximilian von Oesterreich" is grown on Goldberg loess.
The harmonic assemblage of Zweigelt, Syrah and Merlot is aged for twenty-four months in new barrique from the Troncais (Allier) which - thanks to its fine-pored material and exquisite roast aroma - counts among the most revered in noble process, and contributes the tender vanilla flavour of the cuvée. From deep, glossy ruby with a violet-black rim, the full-bodied cuvée possesses an intensive savoury-fruit note with a primary aroma of paprika, supported by vanilla and chocolate flavours. It has a smooth effect on the palate, and a strong exit. This powerful wine with marked tannins contains 13.5-14.3% vol. vintage-dependent, and has all the calibre of a great international red. Connoisseurs will also cherish its emballage, as it is presented in a unique Habsburg-Lothringen case.
